I was one of those who bought Bitcoin Cash back in 2017, more in 2018, and even more Bitcoin Cash this month. And I will be buying Bitcoin Cash for the next 5 years. And the reason why I am buying it are the same reasons why I bought them in the first place.
The fundamentals of Bitcoin Cash hasn’t changed since 2017, in any, the pace of innovation on Bitcoin Cash has actually accelerated. There have been more merchant adoption, more innovations (CashShuffle privacy, Tokenizations, Cash Account, Scalability, New OP Codes, etc) on Bitcoin Cash, growing ecosystem, an awesome community who wanted to change the world for the better and I want to be part of it. This means while the price has fallen, the value has actually increased. As far as I am concerned, this huge disconnect between price and value is a massive opportunity.
I was lucky to be born in a developed country with good job opportunities. Born anywhere else, under harsher circumstances, and I probably wouldn’t be here typing this today. In other words, I had won the lottery of life the day I was born. To think that I am above other human beings because of that, is pure arrogance. And that arrogance when Bitcoin Core supporters claimed that Bitcoin is not worthy for poor people; that infuriates me. Bitcoin Cash is for everyone, rich or poor alike.
The bear market doesn’t bother me because I am in Bitcoin Cash for a much deeper reason. Besides, back in 2017 during the bull market, how many people wished they could go back in time to buy Bitcoin at $100? If anyone ever bother to read the Bitcoin Whitepaper, they would realize that Bitcoin Cash is exactly what was described in the Bitcoin Whitepaper “A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System”. Now that we could “go back in time” to buy Bitcoin at $100, how many would actually recognize this opportunity and start buying Bitcoin Cash?
But more than just money, having seen too much movies, I always wanted to change the world and leave a positive impact during my short stay here. That’s why I am so excited about Bitcoin Cash. If anything, I am obsessed with it. Bitcoin Cash gave my life a sense of deeper meaning and purpose. If Bitcoin Cash go mainstream, it means governments could no longer fund wars by printing money, millions of people no longer have to die unnecessarily, citizens no longer have their savings robbed via inflation, overall better quality of life and happiness for billions of people worldwide, and more. That is a future I will fight for, not just for myself, but for millions of born and unborn generations. I mean, wouldn’t you?
